FINALLY!!!!!!!!!! WOOHOOOOOO!!!!! Have I mentioned that I LOVE Glee?!?!?!

Finn FINALLY sang the song I've been longing for him to sing since the beginning of the season!!!!!!!!!!!  When the first few notes played I practically cheered!  (I probably do that a little too much in reference to TV).  Well, it was AWESOME cuz immediately after swooning over the Rick Springfield cover I was delighted by Puck's syrupy smooth voice...It was MARVELOUS!!!!!!!  And then Kurt....wow, Kurt can SING!  (and his imitation of Rachel's dancing was so funny!)  And the lights?!  Oh, it was just great!

Lately I've been disappointed in Glee, however, tonight's was brilliant!  The amount of great music was just so awesome!  *Sigh*  I don't have a lot to say about the story or anything but the music, but everyone knows that's the main reason so many people tune into it week after week, and this week's music was amazing!

That's all, bye bye!

Doctor Who

So I was reading this blog (Vixen Vintage...I'm a sucker for fashion blogs, especially ones that focus on retro/vintage stuff) and she was talking about her husband's blog he just started (found here) and I LOVED it!  Well, I've been meaning to get into Doctor Who for a while, and this blog pushed me over the edge.  I've always  thought David Tennant was dreamy, dapper, charming in a sort of geeky way so I started with the Tenth Doctor episodes.  It's been a blast and I can't believe I've never watched this before!  I love it!  So yay for the Doctor!  That's all I have to say!  Bye bye!

P.S. Check it out...of course, I'm in love with another fictional character in glasses...silly me!  (but just look at him...look at him.)

Brown Betty: A Musical Mystery

Brown Betty has got to be my all time favorite episode of Fringe!  It was (get ready for my favorite word) AWESOME!!!!

First of all I just loved the style!  It was like a 40s/modern mix.  I loved the hair, make-up, clothes, hair, the colors, and, probably most of all, the electronics.  When I first saw Olivia on her cellphone I was perplexed.  Then I saw the laptops and stuff and was like, "this is soooo cool!!!"  I also really liked the polka dot cow....not gonna lie!

I really enjoyed the way they used the idea of a musical.  Since it was a story Walter was telling Ella (and he was all "brown betty-ed" up) it made sense that they would randomly burst into song.  I loved that it was not in a cheesy Glee/Once More With Feeling/legit musical way, but more of a Fringe/Walter way.

I also loved that the episode was pretty much a total stand-alone episode.  Some of my favorite episodes of Buffy are stand-alones (Superstar, Hush, Restless, Fool For Love, Tabula Rasa, etc.) but not every show can pull off a good stand-alone episode.  I felt this one was exceptional.

Lastly, I'm so glad that Peter was in this one and that he and Olivia were all flirty in Walter's story (I think he wants them to get together as much as I do! hahahaha)  I loved the little fight scene in the house Peter was staying in, and I LOVED the "For Once in My Life" performance by Olivia when Peter was dead for a little bit.  I'm so sad that Peter ran away...so sad!

So, that's all...I have to go to work now!  Ciao!
